Cleveland Clinic is world famous! I think they need their employees but it's interesting that that many didn't want to be vaccinated. It's also sad that this situation is how it is. It seems that if the numbers show a vaccine helps then they would want to avoid getting Covid. On the other hand, the Clinic can't take a chance on spreading it further. What times we live in! Stay warm!

Sad really. Some things are a job to assimilate. Reminds me of a treat my mother used to make is custard and melt a penny bar of chocolate in with it. Chocolate tasted different I think, although taste buds falter.

I ponder, too, if normal will return. Even once the pandemic is over with, every time there is a bug going around, is there going to be a lot of pointed debate over what to do?

Pat, I think you just might be right. On a day like this hot chocolate could be considered essential medicine. After coming in from outside it's the perfect way to warm up. I'm really concerned about the ripple effect at Cleveland Clinic. I'm not sure how many people this will affect.

Those employees need to get vaccinated. Too many people are dying due to ignorance. Sending prayers to them and their families, and anyone who they may have infected.

Good morning
You are definitely experiencing a deep freeze. We are at 13 degrees. It's the perfect day for a big pot of soup bubbling away on the stove. Our youngest is coming over today, so I may throw together some sub sandwiches to go with the potato soup that I have defrosting on the counter. Stay warm and be safe!

I hope whatever the problem might be that it's solved quickly. What a mess. I think your idea for hot chocolate may be considered essential medicine in this extreme cold.
