You nailed this type right on! They were and are disgusters. Fortunately, this new group of teens, both male and female, have been brought up with a great sense of equality from what I've seen. They will make a huge change in the future for the better.

I guess I was born at the right time - that stuff was on its way out by the time I was old enough to see it. Good thing. With my inability to keep my trap shut, my life would have been much harder, I'm thinking.

Good Morning

I love the way you presented this memory from the 90s.  Men like this have crossed my path and I was never fond of them.  I have to say some of them were so arrogant and I never understood why.  There were a few times when I wanted to ask them why they felt they were better than others?  I never did though.  It would not have gone well.

Good morning

I am loving your description of him pertaining to his super cool stud brand of macho supremacy. That in itself is a hilarious vision. I too enjoyed the movie with Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal. It was so out of bounds for the late 80s, yet it was right on cue with its many references to sex at a time when AIDS was a major topic.

Of course, the change was well overdue. I expect the wars changed opinions.

Women experienced the same danger as men, and even more so at times when

nursing or undercover work. It probably was a hard job for some men to accept.
