Re: Good morning

Sassy, my chicken pot pie is baking in the oven and the house does smell so good.  We love chicken pot pie.  I hope you are staying warm on this very cold day.

Good morning

That is one of my all-time favorite comfort foods. I make my chicken pot pie with potatoes, something that so many recipes leave out. A good flaky crust and a yummy veggie-filled gravy are the total bomb! Your house will be smelling like heaven.

Re: Now I'm hungry for chicken pot pie. It's a balmy 18 degrees here this

Pat, I hope you stay warm today.  I'm so glad to hear there is a charity in St. Louis that serves the homeless.  I think it's wonderful that you are donating your hats and scarves from your inventory.  The homeless will be so thankful.  I think the clothes your son donated will be very much appreciated.  We have a city mission here that collects for the homeless.  I always give to them.

Now I'm hungry for chicken pot pie. It's a balmy 18 degrees here this

morning, crystal clear skies, lots of sunshine, going all the way up to 37 degrees if the weatherman on Channel 4 is right. A charity from St. Louis is picking up donations this morning from our little town - and I've been saving up things for them instead of dropping them off at our local Goodwill. My son brought some clothes he can't fit into any more, big warm sweatshirts, etc., and I cleared out half my inventory of hats and scarves. The charity serves the homeless population and a charity thrift store, so it's a good cause.
