I appreciate your following the story!
As the title infers, the deaths that do occur in this story were 'totally unnecessary' in every circumstance. The title tells you of one death in particular, but more deaths are related to the 'RJ' character and his actions. One stupid act by the boy sets off a chain of events that culminate from the current time and place over the next fifteen years.
Again, all of this is based on actual events.

Smooth going at present I hope he has not killed anyone a marble is not like the ball bearings that we used to nick off of army lorries after the W.W.2.
