Thank you. When I first moved to the UP for a few weeks, I was amazed at the sheer number of nights that I would find these stunning sunsets. Then I remembered why they occurred more nights than not. The further north you go, the steeper the sun's angle has before reaching land or water, thus giving us a richer 'rainbow effect' with the sunlight. Add in the consistently high amount of moisture in the air, and you get stunning sunsets and sunrises nearly every day and or evening. It was a photographer's paradise.
