As long as we can keep fairly mobile that's the main thing. I am glad that you are
feeling better. Not a good time to be a turkey.

Good morning
How fun! Delivering the packages is so much fun. We took a drive yesterday afternoon and did the same. On the way home, we enjoyed the Christmas lights. I bet that your new couch is beautiful. Maybe you can get some pretty throw pillows to distract attention away from the carpet that needs to be replaced. Maybe if you are lucky you will find that underneath it is hardwood. Anyway, I love your holiday spirit. Merry Christmas!

Nice to have the internet and face time - it used to be a Christmas
letter sent early in the month, and maybe packages delivered from afar. We used to bake cookies or fruitcakes to send thru the Red Cross or USO to our "boys" in service, before there were women other than nurses at the front lines. I feel little or no nostalgia for those Christmases, but I do miss the ones where my kids were small enough to half-believe in Santa Claus and attending the Christmas program at church or school was where we heard "Silent Night" and other carols.
