Good Afternoon
Kabu, I'm so glad that it snowed at your house. We've had snow but it went away and now I'm waiting for it to snow again. They are predicting no snow for Christmas but I hope they are wrong because they have been wrong before.
I feel so bad for all the people affected by the tornadoes. I'm saying prayers for all the families. Tornadoes are very scary and cause so much damage.
I wanted to tell you we have a Christmas cactus but it did not bloom this year. Some years it is full of flowers but not this year. I hope you are staying warm and enjoying your new home with Mr. Graysome. He is truly a fortunate cat to have you.

Saw a new squirrel just a little bit ago. He was on the roof of the garage
and thinking of jumping off... He jumped into the rain gutter, then back out and I noticed he had only about half of his tail. I'm guessing his name is Stubby. He eventually decided to run to the other side of the garage and leap to a tree limb, rather than try to sail all the way to the ground. Then I got to wondering: is this a new squirrel to the neighborhood or has one of the Brick Street troop been caught in a trap and escaped with half a tail? Or maybe some predator... At least we're not shoveling snow here today.

Good morning
Squirrels are such a blast to watch, but those little stinkers don't have to shovel it. So far, we have not had snow, but I am fairly certain that it's headed to Pittsburgh in the near future. With John on crutches, he is going to have to learn how to navigate safely.
