My mom took string or ribbon and draped across room from one corner to another. She hung the cards over it. This way there was no stickiness from the tape and she could move them around as she received more of them.

Staying warm and safe, a home day today and I really didn't do anything.

We are in line for a snow tomorrow. The salt trucks have put out the brine to pre-treat the roads.

Good morning
It's a bit chilly here today too. I will be sending out Christmas cards this week. Like I told C_C_T, writing out cards is becoming a lost art. As for John, thank you for your well wishes. You are a great friend. Today is the day that we find out if John will need surgery or if he can go back to work. I will let you know later today.

Re: About displaying the cards: At times I've draped a piece of string on tacks
Pat, one year when the kids were little I also hung cards on mini clothespins that came in a small kit. I have no idea what I did with the mini clips. I have always loved Christmas cards. I think it's so nice to display them.

About displaying the cards: At times I've draped a piece of string on tacks
between two windows, then hung the cards on clothespins. These days I tape them
to the panes of the French doors between frontroom and the dining room. Enjoy your holiday prep.
