You're right. Unpacking can be like digging in a treasure trove. It's funny how much you get excited about your own things once you haven't seen them in a long time.

We do a lot of our shopping online for the car washes. Trying to connect on phone can take a long time. As for my personal shopping, I do very little online. I like to try to support the local businesses and the jobs.

Kabu, I'm so glad your items arrived and you can go through each box. It will be nice to search out the perfect place for your prized possessions in your new home. I think it must feel like Christmas going through each box. I've been ordering off of Amazon for a few years now and I've really never had a problem. I belong to Amazon prime and they offer free shipping. I think that's my favorite part. It is where I will do most of my Christmas shopping this year. I hope you have a wonderful day. Are you putting up a tree this year?

I really relate to your skepticism about buying online. I don't remember
doing it - although in the dim, dark past we used to order our school clothes and some household linens through the Sears Roebuck catalog (1940s & 50s). I hope uncovering all your treasures and finding places for them keeps on being fun.
