Re:
FSI, I feel so lost when my computer is down. I think we are all used to having our computers up and running. I was looking at a new computer but they seem very pricey right now.

I'm lost when my Internet is out of service, too. There is just so much I do on it.

Re:
Annicita, from what I can tell they really do. I worry about the animals when our temperatures drop way down. Sometimes our temps are below zero and I'm not sure what the animals do to stay warm.

Re: Good afternoon
Sassy, I wasn't sure they would like the squash seeds when we first took them back to the woods. I'm glad the seeds can help them. I've learned something new today.

Pat, we like to feed the furry animals too. We give them our leftovers but I'm sorry to say I've never given them pumpkins. I'm going to start though. How much land does your sister have in Oregon?

Re:
C_C_T, I hope you stay toasty warm this winter. Fuel prices are definitely going up for everyone. I just found out my neighbor had a pumpkin on her step and the deer came right up and ate it. They had the pumpkin carved for Halloween.

Good afternoon
The animals are happy campers feeding on those squash seeds. It also helps them with deworming issues.

It is fun to feed the critters, seeds and nuts and squash/pumpkins.
My sis in Oregon has a few goats to keep the brambles and overgrowth down on her acreage, so no vegetable peelings ever go to waste at her house.

WE saw a photo, the animals did seem to be eaten the pumpkins. Perhaps the stores just want to get rid of then now. We do have gas central heating it is becoming more expensive, well all fuels are. One has to keep warm.
