Re:

Annicita, I love the first snow but it's usually so cold!

I'm guessing it counts if it sticks.

Hi love. So that is the latest stupid thing certain people are saying. As a nurse I will reasure you darling you are much safer with your three vaccines than those with None plus the bonus you won't be passing it on to anyone else.

Re: Re: Re: Good afternoon

Sassy, I'm glad you are staying warm.  It's much too cold outside today!

Re: Re: Good afternoon

It's chilly here too. I have been in the house for most of the day cooking and cleaning. I have no interest in going outdoors today other than to search for some more red tomatoes. Have a great evening!

Re: Good afternoon

Sassy, your food sounds delicious!  I went outside a little while ago with some recycling and it was so cold!  I'm sure it's cold enough to have some snowflakes. I'm glad I'm back in the house where it's toasty warm.  John's quite fortunate to have you make him his wonderful lunches.  I know he appreciates them so much.  Stay warm!

Good afternoon

A cheesy chicken casserole with some buttered fluffy biscuits is a perfect dish for a cool fall evening. I am making stuffed peppers with a side of garlic rosemary potatoes and a second side of pasta. One will be for dinner and the other one for John's lunch. So far, no snow for us, but I know that it's coming. I have attempted to pick our veggies and herb plants clean due to the fear of frost. Lots of fall cleaning going on in my house today. Hope you have a great day.

Re:

C_C_T, we've had mild winters and really bad winters.  I hope this is one of the mild ones.  When the wind blows our drifts can get really high.  On those days I like to have the fireplace on and a big pot of stew cooking on the stove.

Re:

FSI, I totally agree with you!  I do think we need better vaccines.

Re: Can't help it. Not looking forward to winter. I may bring the snow shovel

Pat, I think it's a good idea to bring the snow shovel onto the porch.  I wish you had someone to help you with the snow.  It can get very slippery outside.  Let's hope you have a mild winter.

Well, I would much rather have the three vaccines than just chance it. We have not had any quantity of snow for a year or two now. When I was young it would be piled up high in the hedgerows. Times change.

I believe the vaccine is safe. I do believe that we do need better vaccines. If COVID can still spread, it runs the risk of mutating. My belief is we need a COVID vaccine as efficient as the Polio Vaccine.

Can't help it. Not looking forward to winter. I may bring the snow shovel

onto the porch today, just in case. Don't want the slick stuff to catch me unaware, and sometimes I think being prepared that way is a charm against the snow. We haven't had more than an inch or so here for the past couple of winters.
