The weather is great here right now - sunny and warm for October. The schools in this area all had Halloween parties, kids were disguised and soooo cute!

We're getting some intense weather right now. There is a coastal flooding warning in Maryland. Thankfully, I don't live on the coast.

Good morning
I haven't had a donut in so long that I forget how delicious they truly are. I love the Bavarian cream filled with chocolate icing. I did get John and me a Boston cream pie for our birthday cake, so I haven't totally missed out. It's a soggy mess here too. The rain just will not stop. John is off today so we are planning on ignoring the mucky day though, making the best of it by having dinner at an old diner and a country drive.

Pat, I would have loved to see all the kids in their costumes. I'm like a big kid for Halloween. I love it! I hope our weather is good for the Trick or Treaters.

C_C_T, I do like fun things to stay the same but it's not always possible. Sometimes progress is good but in this case, I don't think it is.

Nice! Your daughter is treating you in advance...
The kids at St. B's across the street were all in costume on Wed. and having a ball on the playground. It began to storm overnight, rained all day yesterday and so far this morning, but I think the kids are on break these two days because there's no sign of them or the long parade of moms and dads who drop them off. Thankfully we're supposed to have a sunny day on Halloween and mild weather. Hope Cleveland gets the same weather forecast.
