Good evening
Today would have been a perfect day for chicken and dumplings. It rained here all day and it was gloomy and chilly. I have been craving chicken pot pie. I make mine with puffed pastry and I add diced potatoes to the veggie/gravy mix. I am hoping tomorrow is sunny. I would love to take an autumn walk on the trails and enjoy the changing leaves.

I make french bread every 3 days or so here. The kids love it, usually end up taking a loaf home with them.

I've been missing the yeasty taste of French bread and hot rolls for the
past few years. Thinking my gut issues were caused by gluten in regular baked goods, I switched to the very expensive gluten free stuff. Lately my Dr. predicted the issue was the after effect of losing my gall bladder a few years back and tried a new med - which seems to have changed the game. Pizza, of course, has been totally off the table, too. I may get brave and try both one of these soon days.
