Your Browns pulled it out in spite of not having Baker around.

Then you will be able to taste and know which ones to make for the holidays. Enjoy!

Re: That's a wonderful idea...

I'm going to make fudge and let the kids sample it before the holiday.  I know they will love it.

Re: You're going to love that fudge.

Sassy, I like your idea about the peanut butter swirls.  I think I'm going to try it.

I make peanut butter cookies with chocolate centers, but have never tried fudge like that. A challenge it is!

You're going to love that fudge.

I thought about trying chocolate with peanut butter swirls. All I would have to do is melt a 1/4 cup peanut butter chips with a Tablespoon of the sweetened condensed milk and drop dollops of it onto the chocolate and then swirl it with a wooden skewer. Let me know how it turns out.

Good afternoon

It started out nice but now it's chilly here too. We are expecting rain and the temps are going to drop over the weekend. I just pray that my flowers, herbs, and veggies hold out for me to pick them.

Pat, I was trying to think back on the last time I had fudge and I know it's been over two years ago.  I want to make a couple different flavors for the Holidays.  I have never had Penuche but it sounds good.

the touch with candy making - fudge and something called Penuche. It was cream colored, often with bits of crushed candy cane in it, not quite as light and fluffy as marshmallow, but not as dense as fudge. Holidays always seem to include sweet treats, don't they.
