Good afternoon

Ignorance can cost a person their life. I am praying that eventually, everyone will get on board.

I saw there was a radio host who said he tried to contract COVID and finally got it. To me, it's way easier to just get a vaccine. People are strange.

Some people's decisions are so difficult to understand. Taking a chance with your own life is maybe your right, but not when you are also risking the lives of others around you.

Unfortunately, Kabu, you speak from knowledge and common sense.

Those anti-vaxxers, particularly the ones who say Jesus is protecting them, are doing the devil's work, putting others in jeopardy as they risk their own lives. Seems to me the good lord gave medics and scientists the intelligence to find a cure for human illnesses, and it's woefully shortsighted for anyone to refuse it.

Good Morning

Kabu, this is a very well-written post.  I know the things you have seen in your life you carry with you.  I had no idea this is what happened to some when they got measles.  When I was growing up I did get the measles and the mumps too but thankfully this did not happen to me.  I absolutely believe in immunizations.  I have had all my shots and I just got the booster to go with my two Phizer shots.  The only thing that I noticed was a slight pain in my arm.  I was a little nervous to get it with all the bad things I've heard but I still went ahead and decided to get the booster.  I told Roy now I have all my paperwork completed and I carry it with me wherever I go.  I get the flu shot every year.  I have my pneumonia, and shingles vaccines and I decided to get the three-set vaccine for Hepatitis B.  I asked about Hepatitis A but they said unless I was going out of the country I wouldn't need it.  The reason I got all of these vaccines is that I don't want to get sick.  I also have the tetanus shot in case I get hurt.  I've really tried to stay proactive when it comes to my health and I know you have too. God Bless you Kabu and stay safe!

I suppose some will always be O.K., but it does not mean that others who might have another problem will cope as easily. We really do not know enough about these new viruses. Obviously, they become more virulent, or they would just die out. I know a village near me it had a smallpox epidemic. It was contained because the next village was five miles away. A bit fussy about fish, but it is supposed to beneficial.
