Yes, make sure you get paid before releasing the docs. We have plenty of wildlife here - including gators!

Re: I have also been wondering about the lower numbers of little creatures.

I only saw a couple of monarchs this year, Pat_B, and have not seen many ove the past few years at all. Plenty of wasps, but not many bees.

No poison here! Too many animals could get sick, my dogs included.

It's weird, because even during the summer, when seeds and garden were abundant, the birds were still here. It was like one day they were there, and the next they were gone.

Like Kabu, I doubt I'll receive all that is due to me.

They have a habit of doing that, knowing that a lawyer costly and not often used by employees to get their full gains.

Re: The COVID is down in our area too.

Happy to hear that! Pulled my back this morning, so not much baking being done today.

Probably that's it, Sassy. Even with the black sunflower seeds still in

feeder, and absolutely the birds' favorite, we don't see any around. Or the chipmunks, who are usually much later to disappear.

I have my fingers crossed for you re getting your pay and paid for all those days of holidays you never took because they always had a good reason why not. I really don't trust them. however over Thanksgiving forget all about them and have a grest family time. Raise a glass to Grandma Kabu won't you.

I have also been wondering about the lower numbers of little creatures.

I especially notice how few butterflies and bees there have been this year. I understand the Monarch population has decreased exponentially. What a shame.

I wonder if the birds etc are just seeking natural food. It probably is abundant in

different areas. There are loads of berries on oriental trees around here but they are

untouched. If we get bad weather which we have not seen for years we Get veldt

thrushes come down from Scotland and will strip the trees bare. I suspect in your

unpopulated land there are choice pickings at present. Everyone feeds the birds

around here but stop in the late spring and then surprise surprise, friendly rats

appear. They are quite tame. Cries of horror ensue. I do not like poisoning things but they are poisoned by some and thus the circle begins again.

There aren't too many animals where I'm at in Maryland. I wonder if they know something about the October weather.

I would do the Internet thing as well.

The COVID is down in our area too.

People are obviously getting vaccinated and that is great news. If we all keep it up, this pandemic will be a part of our history instead of our daily lives. Your house is going to smell wonderful from all of the baking. Have a great day!

Good morning

I keep reading posts on here that talk about the disappearing birds and fur babies. Our birds are still emptying our feeders, but the squirrels only visit sporadically. We have a persistent groundhog who keeps getting into the birdfeed canister, no matter how much I throw on the ground for him. My guess is that the squirrels are preparing their nests for winter.
