Does your insurance cover the cost? If so, let them choose so they pay most or all of it.

I can go through a box of fudgies, the iced-milk ones, in a week. My Little Flea and the Rugrats prefer ice cream cones, so I always have some handy. Is the vegetable stand mostly local produce?

I suppose it is becoming a bit chilly for ice cream. I tend to buy the soft scoop and keep it in the fridge. I like the real cream ones best but they are so hard to prize from the containers.

Pat, I do like yogurt but that chocolate silk cream pie sounds delicious. I would probably walk the two miles with you to get a piece of that pie. It sounds delicious.

Sassy, I've given up ice cream but not icy slushies because of the calories. I wish I had a slushy machine. They make a nice treat. I hope the Lactose intolerance doesn't give you too much trouble. Does that mean you have to give up regular dairy?

The good ol' summertime is over when the ice cream stand closes.
I've more or less given up ice cream - I like it, but it doesn't seem to like me. And although yogurt is good for the inner you, I don't like it much. But whipped cream: Now that's a whole 'nother story. The local Dierberg's store sells a chocolate silk cream pie with real whipped cream topping that I would walk two miles for.

We had a parallel day once again. I also had a pumpkin dessert yesterday. Joni's party had many treats, most of them that sent my cholesterol into the stratosphere. I love veggie stands. I am hoping that my tomatoes survive the cooler temps, and I love cucumbers with purple onion, vinegar, oil, and dill weed. Hope you have a great day. It is wet here today, but still very warm.

Good morning
Our ice cream stand closed too. However, I learned yesterday that ice cream and I no longer get along. Lactose intolerance has found a path to my gut with a direct hit.
