Pat, I love pecan pie. It's my favorite pie but I'm the only one that does like it so I never make one. I always had pies for Thanksgiving but never apple until my one grandson said it was the only kind of pie he liked. Now I make sure to have apple pie. My granddaughters love Key Lime pie.

I just checked out Big Sky
Is it a detective show? It looks good. I will have to remember to watch an episode to see if I like it. Right now I am still watching Grace & Frankie, and I cannot wait until November for season 4 of Yellowstone.

Good afternoon
Uh oh, they put their boots on...those gnomes do mean business. I only go through sugar during the summer from filling the Hummingbird feeders. Stuffed peppers are the perfect meal for a cool autumn evening. I am making hamburger soup today. I have everything that I need except for the carrots. After we cut the lawn, off we go to the store. I will probably come home with several bags because once I get to the store, it is game on. Maybe we can squeeze in a country drive. Have a great day!

I myself am not a coffee drinker. I never got into it. For me, the smell of it alone bothers my nose.

I have never tasted Pumpkin, although we used to grow one or two just for the novelty. I expect it is what one has with it makes a difference.

I used to bake pumpkin pies every thanksgiving as my kids were
growing up, thinking they loved it. We usually invited extended family, the grandparents, and it became a day for football after dinner for the guys and woman talk and sociability among the clean up crew. Then, some 30 years later, one of the kids tells me they never liked pumpkin pie at all, but they ate it to please me. All those years we coulda had pecan!

I always make my pumpkin pies because of the spices they use. I'm not a fan of cloves. I do hope you buy a big can of whip cream and sprinkle some pecans on top...yummy.
