Hallowe'en sounds like a fun time at your house. Out here in the bush we have no little trick or treaters, but I do make special bags for the grandchildren and great grandchildren, and their parents are faithful about taking photos of the costumes and sharing them for me to enjoy.

Sassy, when I'm working with hot peppers I always forget and touch my face. You are so right Kitchen work is not child's play! By the way, speaking of the kitchen it reminds me your daughter Joni got a beautiful knife from her husband for her birthday.

Annicita, I love decorating for the holidays. I told Roy we need to get our skeleton up on the porch. The people that live down the road from us have one that's so big it looks like it's 10ft. tall.

As for those peppers, tell me about it.
I always forget and later scratch my face or rub my eyes. We have an entire tree of Habaneros. They stay on the hands no matter how many times you wash their fierce bite away. Kitchen work is not child's play by any means.

Ha! Subway works for me. What time is dinner? Actually, I am making BLT's today. I have an abundance of tomatoes that are crying to be used. It started out chilly here today too but it is now sunny and warm. Johnny boy and I have some serious yard work to do today, and I have to give him a haircut. Enjoy your day!

You do vary the meals. It sounds as if you could make a meal out of most things .
We tried a veggie mix today. The portions were small but suppose to resemble chicken. The texture was great, and I think I could put up with the bland flavour. I guess it is getting used to new tastes.
