Kabu, I saw an article on discarding pumpkins and giving them to the animals. We do this every year. I'm always happy to give the animals in the woods food to eat.

A nice day here with the temperatures lower. I too would like to get a big pumpkin because I read that if you cut it into nice sized pieces after Halloween animals will eat all of it.

My cousin has had foxes in her garden and each time she did work in it she was bitten by fleas. Of course, foxes are protected so she has to be very careful.

We also had an issue with wasps.
They took over the Hummingbird feeders. It makes it miserable for the birds and for us. We enjoy eating outdoors when the weather and the wasps permit us to do so.

Good afternoon
This is the perfect time for some Fall crafts. I plan to get a small hay bale and sit a scarecrow on it along with some Mums and a pumpkin.

A new roof is a big project but yes, can cost much more if you wait until you really have no choice but to replace it!

You may want to plan a day out, shopping or maybe a spa day
while the roofers are on the job. That's a lot of noise and confusion to wrap your ears around...
