Most of my recipes call for eggs at room temperature. I very rarely store eggs in the fridge.

Good afternoon
You are one savvy lady. It is smart thinking to cook it up. Waste not, want not.

Good Morning
Ciel, when we come home from the grocery store we put our meat right in the freezer. I've found that chicken and ground meat freeze really well. Sausage stays good in the freezer for quite some time. We buy very little steak but when we do I freeze that too. I've never had a problem with it. In 2003 when our lights when out for four days we did lose all of our freezer contents. I've always wanted a generator in case something like this happened again.

No prob.em in a Canada winter if the power was out. Just put everything into a sturdy container and leave them in the mud room. Away from critters but they stayed frozen. Not so good in the short but hot Summer.
