I guess dad understands the best times brad will actually work. He is really lucky to work anywhere by the sounds of it all.

Good afternoon
I have been an independent contractor for years. The only downfall is the taxes. It is best to pay quarterly when filing 1099. I keep every receipt that helps me to get deductions and write-offs that detract from what I owe in taxes.

Good Morning
It sounds to me like Brad has it made. Since he is an independent contractor he can pick his hours within reason of course but it's not like being a regular employee. I must say there's not a lot of people that could get away with the things that Brad does. He acts like he's a free spirit but he really does not have much ambition. He's lucky your Dad thinks he should be around because other companies might not see it this way.
