I think with gas prices, it has to do with more demand. People are going out more whether it be for work or leisure.

Sassy, I hope it cools off by you! I think the humidity is the worst. I bought 5 lbs. of all-purpose flour. It's sitting on the counter. It should make quite a bit of zucchini bread.

Kabu, we will lay out the red carpet for your Gnomes. I think when they come I'm going to have Sgt. Mulberry cancel school so they can spend as much time together as they want. I have a lot of extra beds. How many do you think are coming?

Good afternoon
It is hot and muggy here today too. It was cool last night and early this morning from all of the rain that we had yesterday. I have never used almond flour, but I have heard that it is great for baking desserts. That is a steep price though. I guess it comes down to, how bad do you want it? Good old ap flour would have worked for me too.

Almost every Fairy I know us good kind cheerful and wanting to please. Almost every Gnome I know is pleasant kind caring and wanting to please when they want something. The Fairies will of course come with me wherever I go but the Gnomes have to be brought along. They want to see your guys again so we are having a very calm and happy time up here.

Pat, it does seem to reach St. Louis before making its way here. I think inflation is going to be a big problem for all of us. It already is affecting the people I know.

Cleveland seems to get the weather 2 days after it has passed through
St. Louis - rain, temps, etc. News stories are featuring the inflation that seems to have hit since the pandemic - especially gas and meat/produce. I hope it levels off.
