I suppose she is wanting to be a supportive Mother. it is not a simple subject and I would expect you to feel real sympathy for this situation. I know that I do. I have been working as an RN in kids Hospital several times while the big bosses decide Boy or Girl??? Inevitably they decide a snip is the easiest way but was it the right decision??? It always upset me for such fippant decisions on the life of a human being appeared cruel and uncaring to me.
