FSI, it really did feel like summer after all the rain and cold temps we've had. It was nice to open the windows and go outside for a change.

It does seem that a lot of folks are taking the opportunity to go to the beaches this weekend we are having hot days having to look out the sun cream.

Pat, I've seen the celery that's already cut up in Giant Eagle. I've never purchased it. It would be much easier than the way I do it.

Sounds like you are enjoying your weekend despite the wet start. My fairies and Gnomes are almost always outside all the time now. They are a happy summer group.

Since I am cooking for one, and I don't eat celery stalks these days because my dentures can't handle them, I buy the chopped celery containers out of the store's refrigerated section. Cost more that way, but just enough for a batch of potato salad.
