I'm fine with whatever grading system the school has for the students. Studying and getting good grades are so important.

I forgot to add that we reward them for good grades, so they are hell-bent on making the A honor roll.

My high school grading system was by semester. The quarterly thing is something that my kids and grandkids were and are graded by.
