They seem to be a softening device for urban landscapes so yes, in that sense, they can make a person feel more comfortable. It must be hot where you are! Take care.

I love them during the day. At night, they make me a little uneasy because I don't have a clear 360 view around me if walking alone.

I find that trees are not only perfect for cooling off, but they are also pretty, and when equipped with a seat, they offer the perfect place to sit and reflect or eat lunch in peace.
