Children committing a crime - many issues need to be addressed. They shouldnt have to ever be in that position.

Good Afternoon
I really think it depends on the situation and what is going on in their lives. Family life would also have to be taken into consideration. Some children have parents on drugs and they do not have food and they could be stealing money for food. This is just one example of what could be going on in their lives.

Children watch all these crimes on television and see the bad guy get away with it for a long time before taken down. They play video games which promote violence as well. It's no wonder they are insensitive...all this exposure desensitizes them.

Yes. Children do not understand the full impact or repercussions of what their actions can do. It is up to the parents to teach them right and wrong.
