Re:

Shamasehar, thank you so much for sharing your knowledge about the vaccine.  My banana bread did turn out good.  I shared it with my neighbor and he loved it.  We are waiting for our turn for the vaccine but it might take a while.

Hope the banana bread turned out good and you enjoyed your dinner. My friends here who took the covid vaccine had no side effects luckily so in a few days we plan to take the vaccine.

Re:

Sea Gypsy, I hope everything goes good for both of us and we don't have a problem when we get the vaccine.

Re:

Kabu, I know you are right.  I'm not sure what it means to be far-right or far-left.  I've never understood that but I know they all tell the story they want to tell.  I just try to figure out if there are any true facts in what they are saying.  I agree with you about the vaccines and we are going to get our shot but it's not available to us yet. I know I got a pneumonia shot and shingles shot and they both hurt my arm.  I had to get a pneumonia shot because I've had pneumonia several times and the last time was unbelievably bad.  My doctor insisted I get a shingles shot.  Thank you for being such a good friend.

I never was a fan of banana bread until I made some with a Pillbury recipe. Good luck with the vaccinations. I hope I can schedule one sometime but have a few concerns about reactions.

I cannot help myself. Please forgive me. Don't ever believe anything Fox news tells you. I was a neighbor to One of the Murdock family in Sydney Australia. He was a nice boy but he  grew older and became just like his father Rupert Murdock. They aren't trying to give you the news but are giving you their version which is so far to the right it is Fascist news. The vaccines have been properly tested They work. They will save lives. You have to stay for a while after your vaccine just to be sure. How much better to have a sore arm than to die or watch someone you love die from a virus. As a retired nurse I know that ache in the arm is usually because the nurse didn't do her job as well as she should have. Please don't hate me. I just cannot stand the falsehoods the Murdock family love to spread.

Re:

Annicita, if you like bananas I think you would like my banana bread.  It's not real sweet and I like that.

I hope all works out for you.

Re: I looked at one of the box mixes for banana bread, read the instructions

Pat, Oh Wow!  No bananas in the banana bread!  What is this world coming to!  I'm fortunate that I have a lot of people I can share with.  My elderly neighbor loves the treats I make and share with him.  I'm not sure if you can freeze banana bread but I would think you could.

Re: It is definitely a beautiful day.

Sassy, I wish I was riding along on your adventure!  It sounds so nice to view the covered bridges.  The subs will be so good!  I love subs!

I looked at one of the box mixes for banana bread, read the instructions

while holding up traffic in the store aisle - nowhere does it say to add bananas.... So I put it back on the shelf. I know I've made banana bread in the past, but it's been 20 or 30 years - if I ate a whole batch of it, living alone here, I'd have trouble waddling through the door.

It is definitely a beautiful day.

You are a true West Virginia southern girl. Even though I am too, being from Delaware, I tried grits for the first time when we visited New Orleans in 2017. They remind me of Cream of Wheat just a bit other than grits can go sweet or savory. I like them with shrimp. It is Johnny boy's day off, so we are headed to the covered bridges near Clearfield, then to Denny's Pub where they serve 20" subs that have been featured on the Food Network food challenge. I will post pics on FB for you to check out. Have a great day!
