My former church had the same old elders conduct the service online before the pandemic, not holding a pastor since I left.

St. Vincent de Paul is a favorite charity of mine. As for the Mass, I had to laugh because I also do not care for that handshake portion. I’d rather a nod or to just skip it. And Saturday evening Mass is better than an early morning to me also.

I didnt know there is a church named after SVP.
We have been shopping at local SVP Thrift Stores for years! We joke that our favorite designer label is SVP (haha).
Where is this church you attend? I'd love to come ss it some day!
