It was chilly here today too. I was all over Pittsburgh, and the wind just would not let up. At least there was no snow or rain to really complicate things.

Ciel, it's nice that you have doves come to visit. We don't see many doves but the hummingbirds are here every year. At first, they didn't like our food but then we stopped buying store-bought and started making it ourselves and they love it.

Kabu, you are so funny! I love it! I had no idea fairies would swear if they were annoyed. I'm going to keep a close eye on mine and listen to what they are saying. They will be in big trouble if I find out they are using bad words. If I find out what the hummingbirds are saying I will let you know. I really do think they talk about us. I hope it's nice because we go to all the trouble of feeding them.

In this weather, with all its ups and downs, I like to see the little birds at the feeder, and the doves up in the corner of the deck ceiling! I haven't seen many hummingbirds this past year. I have to up my hummer-feeding game!

I felt so interested I woke my fairies(did you know that fairies will swear if annoyed enough? I found out they do just now ) Anyway the fairies told me it is none of my business what your Hummingbirds will be gossiping about. Maybe the word Gossip gives us a clue. LOL.

What the hummingbirds talk about are the country music awards
and which celebrities should have been nominated that were not. And sometimes they just fight among themselves about whose turn it is to sip nectar from the bird feeder. Feisty little things.
