Sea Gypsy, we are in the house. It's just too cold to go outside. I've never been to Alaska but negative 35 is way too cold for me.

Hope you are inside now! Its cold there. I had no idea people went to the carwash in the snowy weather until FSI mentioned it. My relative in Alaska said it was negative 35 this morning - and they went out to pick up groceries and drop off treats for the grandkids! You stay safe.

Pat, your temperatures sound good compared to here. I went back to the sunroom to get a storage bowl and it was so cold I couldn't take it. I came right back into the house and shut the door. It's 11 degrees outside tonight and that is entirely too cold for me. After this winter I think our city officials should try much harder to find places for the homeless to live. They simply cannot stay in these cold temperatures. It's not safe for them.

I haven't been out of the house for about 10 days, and today is the
warmest we've seen in two weeks - 35 degrees right now, sunshine and calm winds. I hope all the snow melts by the time I need to get out to the store again.

I bought up heaps of supplies when I was out and about on Thursday and am hoping not to go out for all of this coming week. i love living in the Snow but these days, going out is quite an event.
