Re: Sea Gypsy

This morning  from inside I opened the door and scraped, pushed, and threw snow outside the door, uncovering the doormat. It stopped. More snow's coming tonight. The radio says a covering to an inch. If I think the door's safe, I'll brave a hike. If the snow's too difficult to walk, I'll turn back and call out. I was able to speak to the manager on the phone. I can try to walk on the road there if the sidewalks aren't snow blown. It's a shame because the snow mound at the bus stop was finally cleared Tuesday. I've had to walk to the corner of the driveway and into the street to board the bus because my feet doesn't make traction. If it looks possible, I'll go afraid. If it diesn't look safe at all, I'll need to caspell.ll put another day - only another snow storm's coming Monday. I thought I would return to work Saturday. The weather report and our conditions indicate it weakened from the predictions. Thank you, it's bad without a warmer spell. I remember 2003 in my hometown that cleared snow better than these. They truck the snow away in the business district.

Re: Annicita

That would be a good plan.

Only if someone was down there to catch it!

It depends on the item's usefulness. If I don't want it, I would find someone who did or save it for a future yard sale. For me to actually toss something into the garbage, it has to be broken beyond repair.

My answer would have to be No.  I would find a way to get it downstairs and out to the garbage.  We have two floors at our house but I have never done anything like that.

You stay safely inside, Bill. My one cousin told me she has never seen snow as deep as it is this year. Yes, i’d Be tempted to toss something out from a second or third story.

And please pray about another major snowstorm tomorrow, after they finally cleared a path through the snow mound at the bus stop at work loves. It will be the fourth time I called out for snow this winter.
