Pat

It just magically appears here. And I just magically ignore it! But I’m turning over a new leaf. Or a new dustmop pad. It needs it all over again.

Re: Ciel

Quite a job for a small child. My mom didn’t have us do that but we had other chores.

It's great all the cleaning devices we have to make things easier.

Dust and cobwebs are my clean house's downfall.

All the spiders come and make themselves at home in my house. However, my dishes are done, the laundry is finished and put away, my shower & toilet is sanitized, but my dusty shelves are there for all to see until I find the time to wipe them clean.

I ignore the dust as often as I can, even though I have a dustmop.

Hardwood floors, esp. dark ones, show off every speck. It's more noticeable on sunny days. Surprising how much dust appears with only one person in the house.  Maybe I'll get at it after I've had my coffee. It's the maid's day off here too (every day).

When I was a kid we had hardwood floors and I had to run the dust mop around my room and under the bed every day.

Sea Gypsy, to me this was such an uplifting post.  Thank you for sharing it.  You just reminded me that I have to move the kitchen chairs and run the dust mop under the table.
