I was re-reading your post and when I came to the part where you write that you are choosing to enjoy Christmas and are keeping your eyes on your God, I thought, dear S.Sister, your God is keeping His (or Her) eyes on you. And that’s all that you need to remember at Christmastime. 🎅🙏🏻

Sending lots of love and hugs to you, sweet lady. This has been one terrible year for you, for everyone. You brought lovely gifts for Wiley and you’ve got a great philosophy toward life. Blessings to you and Wiley, S.Sister.

It's great that you are able to find happiness in these times.

Of course it will not be ever like it used to be.

I hope you checked Pay Pal.

It does seem that Our lad is in a caring Home.

He would want you to be happy.

Sometimes it is a tall order, but it is a way

of repaying one's loved ones as it is what

they would have wished.

Merry Christmas

Kabu, you have a wonderful and genuine way of looking at life.  I think you are truly blessed.  I'm glad you got to drop off Wiley's gifts.  I think your beautiful outlook will get you through the winter months.

I count you among my blessings, Kabu. And I love how you take

such tender care of Wiley - even though you don't get to sit beside him and hold his hand. It's a shame the care facilities can't allow some contact with loved ones. It would do so much good for the resident and give family the assurance that everything is being done for them. I have a friend here in town, also a volunteer at the Main Street Center, who's going through the very same thing with her husband. Who wouldn't be sad about the situation. Hugs, dear lady - and one day at a time. Tough old broads like us find a way.  Be safe.

Good for you for looking the other way and counting your blessings.

This has been a year that is ripe with depressing moments, thoughts, actions, lessons, and realities. The true character of a person is revealed during a crisis. You are a strong woman who has managed to get past all of the ugly even though it refuses to let go.
