Re: Christmas is overshadowing the negative aspects going on in the world.

Sassy, I would be happy at your house eating peanut butter blossom cookies.  My family does not like peanut butter cookies.  I'm the only one that does like peanut butter so I don't make them.  I like your idea of blankets in a basket.  We have some in the living room but they are just folded over the chair.

Christmas is overshadowing the negative aspects going on in the world.

If only this magical time could last a bit longer. Roy will love that blanket. We keep blankets in a basket in the living room for chilly nights. They add to the comfort zone. I plan to make peanut butter blossom cookies. They are John's favorite.

Re:

FSI, I absolutely agree with you!  It's been the craziest year ever!  My friend posted on Facebook that there's a tradition where you open your front door on New Year's and let all the bad out and the new come in.  She said she's opening every window and door in her house.  It made me laugh but maybe we should all try it.  I guess it wouldn't hurt anything.

The fact it's Christmas does seem to give a bit of extra comfort during what has been the craziest year of our lives.
