Re: Christmas and December are the perfect match for you.

Sassy, I never thought about it before but you are right.  Halloween and October go hand and hand for you and Christmas and December are the same for me.

Re: Re: I agree. he will feel so much better.

This has not been our year where hell is concerned. I am so looking forward to the end of 2020.

Christmas and December are the perfect match for you.

Just like Halloween and October are for me.

Re:

Annicita, I love grits but I only eat them once in awhile. Thank you so much for the comment.

Re:

Kabu, thank you so much for the comment.  My daughter is just like you.  I just wish we had more room but our house is definitely what I would call cozy and warm.

Re: Good morning. I bet that your tree is beautiful.

Sassy, I love the idea of a spiral ham.  The bean soup sounds delicious. We found two roasts that were on sale and I think I'm going to bake them slowly in the oven so they will be perfect.  Roy wants me to make them on Christmas Eve and it sounds like a good plan to me.  I'm going to make them with lots of mushrooms. It's snowing here this morning so I wonder if you will get snow.  Tell John we wish him well for his surgery.  He will feel so much better when it's all over.

Re:

FSI, it's almost Christmas and I still have a lot to do.  Are you ready for the big day?

Re: Goldiec

BC-A, the boneless turkey was Roy's idea so we don't have to do as much work.  It seemed kind of expensive but it's worth it if there's less work in the kitchen.  I'm going to make stuffing and I think I better get some cranberry sauce too.  Thanks for reminding me.

Re:

Pat, thank you so much.  I always look forward to seeing your name on my page.  We were coming home from the grocery store and it started to snow.  This is Christmas weather.

Reading this makes me realize Christmas is around the corner. It's coming up quickly.

Good morning. I bet that your tree is beautiful.

We are buying a huge spiral ham for Christmas. I later use the ham bone to make bean soup. My mom makes prime rib and ham. I wish that I were in Nevada to sample her feast this year. Our shopping day is Tuesday as well, but this Tuesday my hubby will be in surgery, so shopping will have to wait for a week. Hopefully, the temps stay warm, but I heard that a winter storm is headed this way from the west. Stay safe and keep warm!

Goldiec

Boneless turkey would work for me, with stuffing and cranberry sauce. Your Christmas tree sounds nice.
