Re: Goldiec

BC-A, thank goodness we didn't lose our electricity.  It was a blessing but I'm very sad about the trees.  I hope to never experience a storm like this again.  Thank you so much for your comment.  Stay safe and warm.

Re:

Annicita, I'm always sad when we lose a tree.  A big tree limb landed on our fence for the garden so now we have to fix that before spring.  I love the snow but not this much snow.  It's too much.  Thank you so much for your comment.

Re:

FSI, we had so much snow.  I sure hope we don't get another storm like this one.  Thank you so much for the comment!

Goldiec

Electricity's serious like no heat in my apartment with the landlady sleeping, probably I couldn't tell it until later. I like trees. I don't know about your husband. It's sad when trees fall from a storm. A lot of guys liked trees less when I lived at home.

Oh my! Fallen trees suck! We had so many fall from storms and snow when I lived in St. Louis. Not missing the snow at all!

That's a whole lot of snow. It makes me wonder if more snow like that is in the future.

Re:

Sea Gypsy, thank you so much for the comment.  We are warm and safe thank goodness.  I told Roy Cleveland was on your news in California.  We made Pat's news too.  I've lost track of what our COVID cases are but I'm so sorry your cases are so high.

Re: i love snow as long as i don't have to shovel it

Shams-i-Heartsong, thank you so much for the comment.  I love snow but this was scary.

Re:

Kabu, thank you so much for your comment. I thought we knew what a winter storm was but evidently, we didn't have a clue.  If you look out our kitchen window it looks like a war zone.  So many trees and bushes are bent over with the heavy snow and big branches down all over the place.

Hoping you are warm and safe with the power on. Your weather was on our news here. Also, Los Angeles County has 7500 Covid cases in one day, if you can imagine that amount! I hope your storms don't increase your cases.

Thanking my God that you are safe. That was the sort of snow storm that we get up here very often but we are equiped for them and used to them.

Re: It even made the network news - I saw photos of Cleveland and thought

Pat, it really is a mess here.  The sun is shining though so hopefully that is a good sign. Thank you so much for thinking of me.

Re:

C_C_T, This was the worst snowstorm we have ever been through.  Stay safe and warm!

of you.  Miserable mess.  Be safe.

Goodness that sounds traumatic , one does not hear of trees crashing very often here.

We have been promised snow this weekend but I think it will be hit and miss.

Re: Oh no and oh wow! That is quite the accumulation.

Sassy, I'm so glad you didn't get the full storm we got.  I never expected anything like this when they said winter storm.

Oh no and oh wow! That is quite the accumulation.

Roy has his hands full. I am glad that you are safe. We got the tail-end of your storm here, but no loss of electricity, and nowhere near the amount of snow that you guys got. Today, the snow has all but melted. Be safe!
