From a customer perspective, yes, it can be a relief. However, if you're someone who depends on brick and mortar shopping, this negatively accelerates a trend.

We are sending gift cards to relatives, and giving money to our kids. The only wrapped gifts will be to our two grandchildren. This year and the lack of brick and mortar stores have given a definite stop to window and mall shopping.
