Re:

Kabu, thank you so much for your kind words.  They mean so much to me during this holiday season.  I'm thankful my cookies are done and I will have them to share on Thanksgiving.

I can smell your cookies as they bake and come out froom the oven. It reminds me of Christmas when I had family around me.With people coming though, please be careful. You are much loved here at Blogit.

FSI, I'm trying to make sure everyone stays safe while they are here. It's a cold gloomy day in Cleveland.  Thank you so much for the comment!

Re:

Ciel, I love waking up to a clean kitchen.  It's such a good feeling to have clean counters, stove, and sink. It's so hard to clean up in the evening though when you are tired. Thank you so much for the comment.

Re: Goldiec

BC-A, I think it's supposed to warm up here too but we are expecting rain.  I do love making cookies at this time of year.

Re: Stay safe.

Pat, I've been making cookies for my kids since they could walk.  It's so much work though.  I do love to do it but it's very time-consuming and let's not even mention the mess.

It feels like winter is here to stay. It sounds like you have safe precautions in place.

I sometimes just don't have the energy to clean up the kitchen in the evening. But that's in the balance with how lovely it is to come into a clean kitchen in the morning. It's the same with making the bed in the morning, to have it smooth and welcoming at bedtime.

Roy is a lucky man. You are always making treats and fabulous dinners.

Sometimes I can smell them all the way to Pittsburgh just from your description. One day we will have to catch up on that spaghetti dinner.

Yummy, cookies....

Cookies...

Yeah, baking does make a mess. But the result of that mess uses to be tasty... Yum, cookies...

Well, speaking (and thinking) of something else but cookies, it's good to hear that you're going to have visitors.

Take care - stay safe...

Goldiec

It's going to make 60 here by Friday. There's a cold spell now. Oh, wow, the cookies fit the season love.

Stay safe.

When I was a kid and thought about the time when I'd be a mom, my vision was to be a cookie baker with treats waiting for my kids to get home from school. It's always so much more than that, isn't it? But there were times.
