I would just explain that you had no idea that they re-opened. I think there is a lot of leniency in that.

Our libraries are closed too. It is driving me crazy.
Our library offers wonderful resources from free faxing and Zumba classes to iconic 80s & 90s movie rentals and book signings. Hopefully, things will soon get back to normal.
