I do believe Toyota is a good running vehicle. Any time we've parted ways with a car or truck I've always been sad. My whole family grows attached to their cars and trucks. Right now we have a Ford Ranger and a Chevy HHR. We used to have a Ford Explorer and I loved it but it got old and we had to get rid of it. I'm still sad about that. I would love to have a new Ford Explorer but the are just too expensive now.

My dad had a Nisson Sentra four-door that he drove all over God's green earth. He loved it.

Those Toyota's are diehards. They go forever.
It is no surprise that your dad's Toyota just kept running and running. I had an 82' Toyota Tercel that made a 3,000 mile trip from Nevada to Virginia with ease. My parents also had a Toyota, but theirs was a Celica. They are awesome vehicles. Nissans are good vehicles too.
