We did go back to the store and I did get the nutmeg. I'm so glad too because I'm going to share it. How hot is it where you are from? We had such a humid spring and summer. Now it's starting to get really cold here. I'm sorry you didn't have much rain. I know in California they have suffered terribly because of the dry and hot temps. I look forward to reading your posts.

Sassy, I hope your basil, thyme, and oregano do good in your house. Our house is too dark. We have awnings and our plants don't get enough light. It's so cold outside.

You have a knack for locating bargains, and you can never have enough spices and herbs. I brought my basil, thyme, and oregano indoors. Hopefully, it will do o.k.
