Yes whistling used to give me courage when the blackout was in operation.

I don't know about courage, but it gets things moving along.

I always play music when I house clean. As for building courage, I usually take deep breaths and think about the outcome of the feared task.

I suppose it can. It can give us something to focus on rather than something tedious.
