Sassy, the pies are cooking in the oven. There's one deep-dish pie and one tiny pie pan for my Fairies. I could never forget about them. They are so sweet. Roy decided he wanted chili today too so that's cooking and will be ready by dinner. My Fairies like chili but they like their's on the mild side so I have to make up a little batch for them and leave some of the spices out. I like this cooler weather for baking.

It is nice when the hubby is on vacation. Our sleeping in is about like yours, but I prefer the quiet of the morning. We are in the 60s here today too. I actually do not mind a cooler day.

Corbin, it's hard to tell what the debate will be like. I hope it goes smoothly. They said on the news this morning that most people will not change their vote no matter what happens in the debate.
