to answer your question
specifically, your last question. the answer is the same for why a 286 can't run windows xp....because it can't and people can't see the larger picture because it is beyond their capacity. at least this way, i can give them them an excuse. remember the dumb people you went to school with? no matter what, some just couldn't grasp math no matter who taught them and how.

They see the bigger picture they're just ignoring it. They only pay attention to folks who donate a lot of money to their campaigns.
