Re: Re: Trader Joe's has your chili lime seasoning.

Sassy, we went back to Target and our store didn't have any chili and lime seasoning so we are going to check the grocery store tomorrow.  Thanks for trying.

Re: Re: I love Amazon!

Sassy, I do love Amazon too.  I have Amazon prime and I love the free shipping.

Re:

C_C_T, our corn has been good too.  I just don't know what stick beans are, I'm not familiar with them. Our beans in the garden did not do well at all. I do love the site.  I only hope I can keep up with everyone.

We tried our own sweetcorn today , It was good this year as it has been very warm .A bit different for the stick beans. The beans have grown hard a lot of the time but today I picked some late ones and they were OK. I am glad that you like this site.

If you had ordered it on Amazon it would be on it's way now.

Sassy, enjoy your country drive.  We bought our cleaning supplies yesterday.

Re: Re: Re: Uh oh...

Sassy, Roy just came in and I told him where my chili lime seasoning can be found.  He said he wants to go to Loew's and Target is right next door so I think I'm going to ride with him.  He's taking the truck to get some topsoil so if I'm lucky I will find it on the shelf.  Thanks for the tip.

Re: Re: Baked beans are the bomb! What time is dinner?

Our youngest is in West Virginia for the weekend. The oldest is working, and the one we plan to see is still in bed. John and I are about to head out for a country drive and a shopping trip. The squirrels need peanuts, and I need cleaning supplies. I did some late summer cleaning early this morning.

That is where you will find it.

Re: Re: You're welcome. I need to shop today as well.

Pepper flakes are a staple in our house. John doesn't eat anything without hot sauce, pepper flakes, or hot peppers.

Re: Trader Joe's has your chili lime seasoning.

Sassy, we were just at Target and I wanted to go in and Roy said it would take too long because I always take too long when I'm in a store.  He was worried about his popsicles. I could have bought my chili lime seasoning there!  Darn!!!

Re: Baked beans are the bomb! What time is dinner?

Sassy, I look forward to seeing the pictures from your afternoon family time.  I've made enough baked beans for my family, our neighbor, and your family.  If you lived closer I would share.  I just put them in to bake and I cook them on low heat for a few hours so you will be gone by the time I take these out of the oven. I always love the way the kitchen smells just before we take them out of the oven. I think sometimes fast food is nice.  It means no clean-up!

Re: You were lucky to locate it for that price.

Sassy, thanks for the roasted cauliflower recipe.  Wouldn't you just know I'm out of red pepper flakes but I will definitely get some.  I've got plenty of olive oil so I'm good to go with that.  Before COVID I could find all my spices in any store.  Now things are different and I have to go in search of them. I guess I really did get a good price on my Turmeric.

You can also get it at Target for $1.99. https://www.target.com/p/chile-lime-seasoning-blend-3-5oz-good-38-gather-8482

Baked beans are the bomb! What time is dinner?

We are headed out to our middle daughter's house today. Sundays are reserved for family time with our kids. We will probably eat fast food today, but you only live once.

You were lucky to locate it for that price.

My organic Turmeric cost $8.00. We use it on roasted cauliflower, in soups, and on macaroni & cheese. The cauliflower recipe is supposed to eliminate cancer cells in the colon. It is a mixture of olive oil, garlic powder, red pepper flakes, and turmeric. You coat the cauliflower with the olive oil blend and roast it at 400 for 20-30 minutes.
