I haven't had to put water out much at all thgis year up here. We have lovely wet soil and the garden is happy.Not as pretty as it once was but happy.

My mice are fat and happy as well.
The birds are some of the sloppiest eaters, yet I could not imagine a yard without their constant chirping and buffet needs.

Yes this year has been a awful for keeping up with the watering. Archie who I let take over the dahlias has had his work cut out. I don't know what my water bill will be. It can't have paid for the hours it took.

Garden Herbs
I hope that you will be able to use your herbs. They add so much to a recipe. I have cherry tomatoes too and we also have the little orange ones which are my favorite.
