I loved it to....but it's time to go on to bigger and better destinations!

It's time to set foot on Mars!

Amanda

Personally, I like it  It's what my lifetime promised, when I was,  growing up. I remember the enthusiasm of my third grade teacher and neighbors. My parents chose them as our guests, at the Cub Scouts Spaghetti Dinner, the U.S., pulling ahead of the U.S.S.R. it all sounds good. John F. Kennedy was president. He supported the space program, and initiated physical education, and social programs (although I'm a Republican). Space age thinking helped everything. It was  vertical, frontiers. The digital agent's horizontal. The outlook's panic.

I love NASA - But I have one thought.

Yes, it's great, but at the same time we in the US have severe wildfires and have to borrow super-scoopers from Canada to help fight them. Why is there funding for space flight and exploration and none for two planes to fight fires? Can't we do both here? Sorry to ramble on your page, dear.
