I am only a retired nurse dear Bill but at my age I am better here at home than mixing where social distancing may not be observed. i feel as though this year, my World has almost ground to a stop.

The CDC guidelines are not always for the best.
A lot of it just does not make sense. You can go in Walmart and grocery stores, but you can't go into a restaurant to sit down and eat. Here in Pittsburgh, we are losing old family restaurants every week due to those "fragile" guidelines.

Yes, there is a conflict there. I would say there is a conflict with just about everything and CDC guidelines.

All of the eateries are under extreme pressure to stay in business because of the insane rules and regulations preventing them from making any money.
